My recent stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/Brier Creek was a mix of highs and lows. the friendly staff greeted me promptly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring premium bedding and all the necessary amenities. the complimentary hot breakfast was a nice touch to start the day, even though the options were somewhat limited. the free airport shuttle and ample on-site parking were convenient perks for guests arriving by car or plane. However, as a celiac and non-egg eater, I found the breakfast options lacking for those with dietary restrictions. the absence of gluten-free bread or alternative milk options left me hungry in the morning, despite the efforts of the staff to keep things running smoothly. While there was a snack bar/deli available, I wished for more variety in the breakfast offerings. On the positive side, the hotel's location in Umstead offered easy access to Raleigh's attractions, making it a good base for exploring the area. the property itself was well-maintained, with additional features like complimentary WiFi and a fitness center adding value to the stay.
